Trophy Walleye Await You
Lake Sakakawea is widely regarded as one of the premier walleye fisheries in the United States. The walleye season starts in early May after the ice melts, and the fishing remains outstanding through October.
Trophy walleye here average 3 to 8 pounds, measuring 23 to 32 inches, with larger specimens available for dedicated anglers. Whether you are a seasoned walleye pro or picking up a rod for the first time, the abundance and size of the fish make every outing memorable.
After your day on the water, use our state-of-the-art fish cleaning station to prepare your catch for the trip home or a fresh shore lunch.
